As you can see in the picture, JP is going from selling their annuals in trays, like most greenhouses do, to selling their annuals in 6-packs of individual pots. This upgrade gives each annual plant a LOT more soil and a LOT more room to grow. The result is that JP’s 2016 Annuals are bigger and better than ever before! This can cut several weeks off of their grow time when you are trying to get your flower beds established, which should especially appeal to those of us who have been dragging our feet getting the garden started this year!

Each of JP’s Annuals is grown to perfection in a pot measuring 3.25 inches High x 3.5 inches Wide, offering plenty of room for them to reach a healthy size. The precisely formulated soil-less medium that they are grown in also ensure a sterile environment, healthy growth, and easy transplant into the garden or container. The larger size is also good news for gardeners because it allows Jackson and Perkins to offer some bigger annual varieties like Caladium and Elephant Ear, greatly expanding the horizons of the different container combinations they can create. Now you can make the kind of elegant combination that looks like it was planted by a high-end, professional designer!

Bigger pots, bigger plants. It looks like about 10 pounds of gorgeous in a 5-pound box!
