Letter from a Customer about Rose ‘Double Delight’

This was given to me last week, and I thought I would pass it along. We appreciate all of your stories and letters. Please feel free to share. Bill C. from Logan, UT was also kind enough to share this beautiful picture.

Dear fellow rose lovers,

Enclosed is a digital photograph of your “Double Delight” rose that I took during late evening on October 10th, 2007. The back light falling on the plant seemed to make the rosebud glow. I grabbed my camera and tripod and captured this picture.

Previous attempts to grow the “Double Delight” along my row of J&P rose bushes did not turn out well, probably due to a spot of poor soil in that area.

Before trashing the roots of this bush, my wife transferred them to the southside of our house near a rain gutter down spout. This bush continues to thrive in spite of ice forming around it during Spring thaws. It produces beautiful blooms each year.

I receive your catalogues each year and hope to add more “Double Delights” in the future.

Sincerely,
Bill C. in Logan, Utah
